Bingham McCutchen LLP Again Sponsors Two EJA Fellows for Summer 2009 For the fifth straight year, the law firm of Bingham McCutchen LLP sponsored two EJA Summer Fellows. This year’s Bingham McCutchen/EJA Fellows are Negin Avargan, a University of California at Hastings law student, who worked at Bay Area Legal Aid in Oakland, CA and Judith Caudro-Zimmerman, an American University law student, who worked at the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law in Washington, DC. Bingham McCutchen’s sponsorship of EJA Fellows is just one small example of its ongoing and substantial pro bono commitment. In 2007, Bingham McCutchen received the Boston Bar Association’s Thurgood Marshall Award recognizing the firm’s generosity in providing pro bono legal representation to the needy. Equal Justice America is very grateful for the generous support of Bingham McCutchen.
