LEGAL SERVICES FELLOWSHIPS

Equal Justice America is pleased to offer fellowships of up to $1,500 to students at the law schools listed below who work during the Spring 2012 semester for organizations providing direct civil legal assistance for the poor. Click here to view Law Schools where EJA Fellowships are offered.

Students must secure a part-time (at least 120 hours) placement for Spring 2012 working for a legal services organization. Students may also apply for a fellowship if they are unable to work a full 120 hours. The grant would be reduced on a pro-rated basis.

TO APPLY: APPLICANTS MUST SEND A COVER LETTER DESCRIBING THEIR COMMITMENT AND INTEREST IN PROVIDING LEGAL SERVICES TO THE POOR, A RESUME, AND AN EMPLOYMENT CONFIRMATION LETTER FROM THE HIRING ORGANIZATION TO EQUAL JUSTICE AMERICA AT THE ADDRESS BELOW. ALL REQUIRED ITEMS MUST BE SENT TOGETHER.
